FAQ
-
Is the Bootcamp free?
Yes. The Bootcamp is fully funded by Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO and CrewHQ. -
Can I apply for the Bootcamp and study remotely?
It is really important that students attend every single session to gain the maximum advantage from the Bootcamp. Those who are not available to attend the 5-6 weeks of training, from the prescribed course start date should not apply. The 1-week intensive dates have been scheduled. The additional sessions will take place in the evenings currently planned for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but subject to change depending on guest speaker availability. -
Can you share more details on the application process?
The first stage of the application is to complete and submit the Application form. Should you fit the criteria, you will then be emailed a series of questions, to which we'd like you to record and submit a video answering the questions. You will also be asked to submit a reference. Following on from this, we'll make a 'selection' of applicants internally to which we will then interview with the HBO team via online meetings. From these interviews, we will then make our final student selection. -

Yes, for all applicants, the criteria is that you must have less than a year or no experience in film production, be over 18 years old, and have the right to live and work in the UK.
