Learn to scan and process environments for VFX using the FARO Focus laser scanner

This on-demand course will teach you how to use the FARO Focus laser scanner for capturing environment scans.

We’ll start the course by having a deep-dive of the scanner itself and familiarising ourselves with the menu and scan settings. We will also demonstrate some of the recent developments of the technology with the new Focus Premium and the Stream App.

Following on from this, we’ll turn our attention to the importance of planning and assessing your environment before you think about hitting the ‘scan’ button. We will then look at how to go about capturing a variety of scans depending on the environment itself and time pressures.
