  • 01. Real-time previsualization

    In this lesson, we'll arrange the Editor Layout to suit your needs, introduce you to Probuilder and Progrids, and cover creating and altering of materials to establish a look.
  • 02. Environments, modeling, and set dressing

    Here we will look at the tools and techniqes to assemble a set, create props with ProBuilder, adding basic lighting, and lastly we'll explore emissive materials.
  • 03. Animation in Unity

    In this lesson, we will look at creating a timeline and adding keyframed animation tracks. Following on from this, we'll configure generic rigs and add animation clips. We'll then turn our attention to configuring humanoid rigs, adding animation clips, and creating Dailies.
  • 04. Cinematography

    Here we will focus on framing Shots with the main camera, getting started with Cinemachine, and using Cinemachine to create multi-camera shots.
  • 05. Adding visual fidelity through lighting

    Here we will cover how to setting up  your lighting using Point Lights and Spotlights, applying post-processing effects to your scene, and lastly adding post-processing effects per camera shot.
  • 06. Effects and Final Render

    Our final lesson in this course will focus on creating visual effects, working with audio and creating titles.

Unity Media and Entertainment Technical Specialist

Ben is a Media and Entertainment Technical Specialist for Unity Technologies with 20 years experience in CG Feature Animation, Television Animation, and VFX working across the globe in North America, Asia, and Europe for a variety of high-end studios. Previous studios include Dreamworks Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Disney Feature Animation, MPC, and Industrial Light and Magic. Prior to joining Unity, Ben spent the past 3 years working at ILM London as a Lighting Supervisor on Transformers 5, Avengers: Infinity War, and most recently Avengers: End Game. In his role at Unity, Ben is working with technical decision makers and influencers within key VFX and Animation Studios throughout the UK and the rest of Europe to advance the art and science of visual effects and animation through the use of real-time technology.
