Framestore is excited to announce a brand new opportunity to train and work with their FX team. There will be an initial six week training period followed by 6 weeks of on the job learning with their FX team. The entire twelve week duration will be fully paid.

Learning initially in a classroom environment, students will participate in a series of real-world challenges to bring the application of their skills up to industry standards.

Students who successfully complete the twelve week course, will be offered a contract of employment within the FX department at Framestore’s London film location.

Dates

We anticipate the course will begin in early October 2021 and will predominantly be based on site at our Chancery Lane offices.

Job requirements

Who Can Apply?
The program is targeted at candidates who already have a CG generalist type knowledge, but who would like to specialise in FX simulations such as RBD’s, water sims, smoke & magical FX. The ideal candidate will have an existing knowledge of Houdini, Maya and 3D in general. The programme does not replace traditional academic training.
