When you join CAVE, either as a student or a teacher, a Shotgun account will be set up for you. This will be used for managing training tasks, revieweing student feedback and project management.

Logging in to your Shotgun account

The first thing you’ll need to do is accept the Shotgun invitation that you’ll receive via email. You’ll receive this when you sign up to a CAVE Academy course or the Dailies programme.

Clicking on the link will then prompt you to create a Shotgun password, agree to the terms and conditions, and set your role accordingly. By default, set your role to Artist.

You should then be presented with the Shotgun tour. Once you’ve gone through the tour, you’ll be presented with the CAVE Academy Shotgun homepage. By default, you will be enrolled onto the IND project, which is our CAVE induction project. As you join other training courses or programmes (such as Dailies), you’ll find the content here too.
