Feedback on the story, characters and environments from UNC Japanese History Lab.
These notes are from 2021 when the plan was to go for something more fantasy-based. Although the aim was always to strive to add authenticity and believability to the project as opposed to "just make it cool", the feedback highlighted how we'd strayed too far from our initial aims.
A few months ago, we got in touch with Morgan Pitelka, Professor of History and Asian Studies, for some advice and feedback on the EOE project. Although the project is a fantasy-piece, the aim is always to strive to add authenticity and believability to the project as opposed to “just make it cool”.
The feedback from the team at the UNC Japanese History Lab was fantastic and we’ll be re-working aspects of the project to reflect their thoughts and ideas.
